L-Tracks Cargo Securement System
L-tracks are also referred to as logistic or aircraft tracks. One of the cargo control methods that secures cargo and prevents jostling or coming loose during transport. The L-track rails are narrower than E-track rails, and the round openings on the rails make it easy to customize a precise series of tie-down points that suit your cargo needs. L-tracks are typically compatible with S-hook tie-down strap fittings.
Where and How to Use L-Tracks
L-tracks are typically used inside enclosed semi-trailers, transport vans, and on the bed of pickup trucks.
-
L-tracks can be easily removed, and yet, while in place, they secure everything in your van or semi-trailer tightly.
To maximize your success with L-tracks, begin with a clear idea of what you’re moving. How big is it? Will it exceed the working load limit (WLL) of the straps or not?
-
When installing the L-track rails, double-check your measurements to make sure your track fits into your space.
-
Make sure you’re using high-quality installation tools like drills, wrenches, center-punch, nuts, bolts, washers, screwdrivers, and a deburring tool for a clean finish.
