Customer Responsibility / Terms of Service Agreement

This document contains the terms and conditions which govern this site, and those sites linked to it in its entirety (collectively, the “Sites”).

Acceptance of Terms of Use. Mytee Products (“Mytee Products”) provides its on-line services, products and Web Site to you, the User (“User”), subject to this Terms of Service Agreement (“TOS”). Mytee Products reserves the right to alter the TOS at any time without notice to User. By using the Mytee Products web site, located at the URL: www.myteeproducts.com User accepts and agrees to abide by the terms of this TOS Agreement.

Products will experience normal wear and tear from usage. Normal wear and tear cannot be a basis for claim submission. All our tarps are hand made and cut-size is going to differ from the listed size by upto 2% or 6". 

Please remember that the D-Rings and grommets on your tarps are not rust proof. We do not represent as much. As such, the onus is on the driver to dry them before rolling up the tarp. Once the D-Rings rust, they become rough like sandpaper and cut through the webbing loops that hold them in place. As such, rusting should be prevented by the customer.

The fabric is not designed to take any direct abrasion or pressure. All tarp fabrics (except Mesh) are designed to be water resistant, not 100% water proof. On all fabrics, cuts and rips on the main body should be guarded with proper edge protectors and moving blankets by the customer. In case of Shade Mesh, the mesh is designed to provide shade from a distance. Mytee is unable to support any claims due to fabric rips and cuts.

The webbing that holds the D-Rings are designed to take limited tension from Bungees. However, if undue force is applied to force-fit a tarp over a load for which the tarp was not designed, the webbing will rip off the main fabric.

Products should be inspected immediately upon receipt. Only damages or missing products reported within 3 business days of product receipt by customer will be reviewed. Please match the items you recieve with the packing slip. Please mark on Bill of Lading if you do not recieve everything that you ordered. 

We do not accept returns on custom made tarps. 

Anytime a payment method fails (e.g. a check bounces), customer is responsible for NSF fees of $55, the original amount charged and also any collection costs that ensue subsequently up to 20% of collectible or a flat $600, whichever is greater.

Confirmation of Delivery by a third party carrier (UPS, FEDEX, USPS, R&L, Pitt Ohio or any other Freight Carrier) will be agreed by the customer as comfirmation of service provided. 

Chargebacks will be treated as a payment method failure. Customer will continue to be responsible for the original amount plus collection costs. Please understand that we get a wide variety of customers. The only thing we can do is observe clear policies and manage them consistently. That is the only way we can keep costs down for all customers.

We reserve the right to ship out orders with any major national carrier (UPS, FEDEX, R&L or any other LTL Motor Carier) depending on the ordered items and delivery location in order to serve you better. 

 

Signature Required on Delivery

Shipments to New Customers will typically be sent Signature Required on Delivery in order to prevent fraud. If you DO NOT want your delivery to have signature required please call us after placing your order. You will need to fax/email us a waiver form in order to request delivery without signature.

If the carrier returns the shipped product to us, customer will be responsible for return shipment. Smaller orders may be shipped without signature required in order to reduce customer inconvenience. 

Security & Privacy Notice

Mytee Products respects your privacy. In order to provide you with the best service, we record a variety of information when you place an order, including contact and credit card information. Your information will only be shared to the extent necessary to fulfill the order and to insure you receive the quality customer service we are committed to providing. In addition, we collect contact information when you add items to a Wish List or use our Contact Form. We will not sell, give, share, or lend patron information under any circumstances.

We provide patrons with the opportunity to opt-in to our newsletter and periodic email updates that may provide educational information, new artist introductions, new product information, and special shipping information. Patrons may opt-out at any time.

We may, from time to time, use your mailing address to send product updates and catalogs directly from us. If you wish to be removed from our direct mail list, simply Contact Us and we will remove your information immediately.

There may be times you provide us with a third party address, such as when you ask us to send a catalog to one of your friends or have a gift item shipped directly to recipient. We may use the third party contact information you have provided for direct mail product updates and catalogs, and for periodic email newsletter and updates. All email correspondence offers patrons the choice to opt-out. To be removed from our direct mail list, patrons may simply Contact Us and we will remove their information immediately.

Store-Pickup Policy

1. This is a courtesy service Mytee provides to customers.

2. Mytee will only accept Store Pickup orders that are fully pre-paid

3. After receiving your order, Mytee will assemble, skid and wrap (where appropriate) then stow-away your order as expeditiously as possible. Any issues discovered along the way will be communicated to you as best as we can. Please be responsive to avoid long trips to our facility under incorrect expectations.

4. Once order is completed and sealed, it becomes subject to fees under following circumstances:
a. Substitutions or items removed after stow-away - Fixed Fee of $20
b. Delay beyond a month in pickup - Order dismantled, 5% Restocking fee
c. For Overnight Lock-box Pickups, delay beyond noon of next business day - Order dismantled, 5% Restocking fee
Order dismantled implies items returned back to general pool of inventory, payment refunded (minus restocking fees if any). No surety of item availability upon sudden arrival of customer after dismantling.

5. We will make best efforts to keep your items ready for hand off. In case of problems, Mytee reserves the right to refund your payment and cancel transaction.
