Our roadway mats will act as a safeguard between your machinery and the ground on a work site.
  • Cargo Securement Tools: Another way to keep your pallet of bricks safe after a lift, is by using our wide selection of cargo securement tools. All of our transport chains, towing hitch locks, winch straps, tarps, and even corner protectors are designed to keep your load safe and secure.

Questions & Answers

How do I choose a sling for lifting?

There are a couple of factors to consider when choosing the right sling for a lifting job. Think about the size, weight, and shape of your cargo. Is it tall or over 500lbs? You’ll also want to check if the load you’re moving needs is hot or cold. Even environmental factors can help you decide what kind of lifting slings you’ll need.

What is a Type 3 Lifting Sling?

A type 3 Lifting Sling, also known as a double-eye sling, features a flat loop eye on the opposite ends of the strap. Also, the loop eye sits on the same level as the sling’s body.

Which type of sling is most commonly used for rigging?

Most people prefer to use wire rope slings because of their versatility and durability. They can be used on just about any job, including lifting your extreme or heavy machinery. Also, these slings for lifting are resistant to early signs of wear and tear, and they’ll last for years to come.

What are the rules for lifting slings?

Our lifting and rigging slings with hooks can pretty much handle any job. However, you should avoid a few things when using them to ensure a safe lifting operation:

  1. Never use damaged lifting slings
  2. Don’t attempt to use them to lift a load that exceeds its WLL
  3. Your sling must be strapped tight over your cargo
  4. Avoid twisting or knotting up your sling. This reduces its WLL
  5. Cover your lifting slings with a protective sleeve when lifting a sharp-edged load
  6. Your slings must be rigged properly and the weight of the load evenly distributed.
  7. After usage, store your slings away in a clean and dry area to avoid damaging them
