• Durable Construction: Our ratchet chain binders are curated from robust steel material, which is designed to withstand great load limits, tension, and repeated use. The entire load binder is coated with green powder to increase its durability and performance. The coating will protect the binder from rust, corrosion, changing weather conditions, harsh environments, scratches, etc.
• OSHA Safety Green Load Binder: This flatbed chain binder has a safety green coating for clear visibility. Whether a person working on a flatbed trailer or a vehicle behind the trailer, this safety green color will provide the utmost visibility. Thus, preventing accidents, promoting safety awareness, and more. This easy-to-locate binder is FMCSA and DOT-compliant, adhering to safety guidelines.
• Load Capacity: The durable binders are designed to withstand a load of 5,400 - 9,200 lbs with a breaking strength of 19,000 - 33,000 lbs. It will enable you to secure substantial loads/cargoes without difficulty. The optimal handle length of this binder is 14" whereas the barrel length is 10" and the take up is 8". It has a bearing-to-bearing length ranging from 23" to 30" (hook to hook).
• Compatible Chains: Our load binder includes grab hooks on both ends with a respective size of 3/8" - 1/2" & 5/16" - 3/8". These are compatible with chains of this size only. The hooks are screwed, securely grasping the anchor point. You have to twist and extend them when using them. Additionally, the hooks will securely connect to chains, securing the cargo/loads during transportation.
• Ratchet Mechanism: The load binder has a ratchet mechanism for tightening and tensioning the chains while securing the load. The small and incremental adjustments will enable precise control over applied tension, neither over-tightening nor damaging the cargo. • DIY Installation: As mentioned above, it’s a ratchet-style chain binder that requires a few minutes for application. Check out the detailed steps below:-
  • First, grab the chain binder and start unscrewing the hooks to open it. Turn the grab hooks at least 15 times.
  • Now, connect one grab hook of any size to heavy-duty chains.
  • Connect both ends of the hook to the chains and tighten the binder by ratcheting it.
  • Voila, the application is done.
