The Driveline helps save time recoving and tow a truck safely by saving time not having to completely remove the driveline from it. With the help of this tool you only have to disconnect the back end driveline and safely secure it using the proper method outlinned below.
1. Make sure lock nut is loose on thread. Compress thread end of suspender into bar and install suspender bar in frame web. Suspender brackets should be flush on web.
2. Hand-tighten lock nut. Then use the captured-nut wrench to fully tighten lock nut against washer. This will keep the suspender bar in place during transport.
NOTE: Driveline suspender can be installed with thread-end attached to either driver or passenger orientation of vehicle. Installer should consider where cradle will rest with disabled vehicle's driveline. Cradle should not slide into thread area of suspender bar.
3. Place cradle under driveline and rest both hooks on suspender bar. BEFORE resting driveline in cradle, slide lock-plates onto each hook end and secure with lock pin lynch pin.
*FAILURE TO SECURE LOCK PLATES BEFORE LOWERING DRIVELINE INTO CRADLE CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO YOUR TOOL.
