• Size: The heavy-duty bullet hinge is 6" long and 1" wide. The size of the bullet hinge makes it ideal for use with different truck doors, storage components, and access panels.
• Durable Construction: The main body of the bullet hinge and pin is made using high-strength steel, which is capable of bearing heavy loads. The bushing and grease zerk is made using brass as it is naturally protected against corrosion and for its low-friction properties. All the bullet hinge components are unfinished and come with a gray color (the brass bushing is zinc-chromate). It gives the user flexibility to paint, powder-coat, or galvanize after installation.
• Application: This bullet hinge with brass bushing and grease zerk is useful for truckers and fleet operators. It is used with rear swing doors on dump trucks, box trucks, and cargo trailers. How to Use It?

• Clean and grind the metal areas where you want to weld the hinge.
• Position one half on the stationary frame and the other on the door or moving panel.
• Use small welds to hold the hinge temporarily and test door alignment and swing.
• Once alignment is verified, apply continuous weld beads for permanent attachment.
• After cooling, inject grease into the zerk fitting until a small amount appears around the pin.
• Paint or coat the hinge and surrounding metal to minimize corrosion. Note: This is an optional step.
