Provide your dump truck tarp with proper arm tension when rolling and unrolling with Mytee Products’ Spiral Torsion Springs. It is based at the base of the lower tarp arm and is activated whenever the tarp is rolled up. There’s a bent tab in the center of the spiral ring, which latches onto the pivot pin whereas the tail of the spiral spring fastens onto a rod or ledge in the lower arm. Our spiral torsion spring for dump truck tarp systems is made of alloy spring steel and coated with black acrylic electrophoretic for long life and rust resistance.
The coating further ensures rust resistance and reduces the impacts of environmental elements.
It helps in the proper functioning of the tarp system—covering and uncovering of the tarps.
It’s a universal replacement part for all externally mounting spring-powered tarp systems.
The spiral torsion springs are compatible with most 4-spring and 5-spring tarp systems.
Replace both sides with a spiral torsion spring if you see any sign of wear and tear.
If you’re planning to leave your truck for an extended time, it’s suggested to deploy the tarps, keeping the springs in a relaxed state.

Note: 4 springs or 5 springs refers to the number of springs mounted on each side of a spring-loaded tarp system. Make sure to distinguish it from underbody springs.

No problems. Just reached out with a happy customer experience. The locking ratchet chain binder ended up working perfect for storing the chain binders. Order a second one and 4 more binders for the other side of the trailer. Great folks to do business with.

Their products came recommended on a forum. I decided to go ahead and get some tire straps for the ATV. They hold very securely and let the ATV suspension move with the truck/ trailer. Better than compressing the suspension! The hooks are solid yet still small enough to use the factory Ford points in the truck bed. Also pcked up some extra sleeves to protect the straps at contact points on the tire.
