DEF Filter Installation Steps

• First you have to locate the DEF filter situated near the DEF tank after which you have to hold and loosen the cap with a wrench.
• Now disconnect the outlet hose carefully that is attached to the DEF filter, while doing this expect some residual DEF fluid to be drained so you have to use a container to prevent the floor from spillage.
• Remove the old DEF filter for which you can use a rough cloth to make a grip and gently pull the filter out.
• Now you can install the Mytee Products’s new DEF filter in the mounting bracket and make sure that it is properly aligned, then gently press it to insert it in the hose.
• Now you can reconnect the rubber inlet hose back to secure the filter and finally tighten the cap. Make sure that the cap is properly tightened and as it is a plastic unit don’t put extra pressure on it.
• Finally you can start the engine and check for any sort of leaks and if detected just tighten the connection or replace the clamps.

18 MONTHS WARRANTY: This product is covered for one year or completion of 100,000 miles since installation or 18 months after you buy it from Mytee Products, whichever comes first. Unless specified otherwise, buyers/consumers need permission from your salesperson to initiate a return under warranty. We will replace any part free of charge only if our team finds a defect after a thorough examination. The warranty only covers only the replacement of defective parts (under the mentioned conditions), we disclaim liability for labor and/or special or consequential damages of any nature. If the buyer/consumer decides to return the parts under this warranty then the buyer must agree to wait for us to settle the claim before deducting any amount from your payment to Mytee Products. Any further costs you incur without our approval won’t be covered.
