- BUILT FOR STANDARD STAKE POCKETS 3 3/8" WIDE
- Holds ramps upright for use as levelers (1 pair required per ramp, 1 left & 1 right)
- Use chain binder with up to 3/8 chain to securely fasten stakes to trailers stake pockets
- Eight heights available to accommodate different trailer drops; 16″, 18″, 19″, 20″, 21″, 22″, 24″, and 26″
- Getting the correct stakes is important. When using spacers, stake height = ramp width + spacer height used.
- Some trailers have a narrow pocket. Measure stake pocket to be sure to get correctly sized stake inserts.
- Stake inserts are designed to be reversed to allow for up to a 1″ difference in trailer rub rail widths
- There is a connector piece at the bottom of the Converter stake. It comes in storage mode. To be deployed, it needs to be removed, flipped, re-inserted and locked. Then the converter stake is locked in place inside the trailers stake pocket. To store, repeat the operation in opposite.
- Each Converter Stake is marked "L" or "R" For Left or Right, designated from the perspective of the person sitting on the driver's seat or, put another way, a viewer standing at the rear of the trailer looking toward the Cab side.
- The Converter stakes must be used in pairs of Left and Right.
- The very top of the Converter stake has a single cast piece with a slit. This is to guide the G70 chain through it.
- When the ramp is flipped and inserted down the channels of the converter stake, the wheel surface of the ramp should be facing toward the trailer rear
- Three "H" shaped Lumber Clips per pair of Converter Stakes are necessary to lock the lumber in place
