Grade 70 Transport Binder Chain (Different Sizes Available)

I love the 1/4" x 12' chains. This makes four I have received from Mytee. i use them a lot on a timber farm and have a small sawmill. The 1/4 inch size is just right; easy to carry, snake under a log or loop around farm equip to move. I put a logging hook on one end and place the grab hook mid way to choke up extra chain (3 hook on a chain). First thing I do is remove the carter pin from the hook link and cut the link where the carter pin hole is. I then hammer the link like a rived head. This will make it smooth and will not snag or loose your hook in the woods.

Well pleased. The same grade 70 chain 1/4" by 12 ft would cost more than double at local hardware and big box stores and with out the hooks. I use the chains for moving equipment and logging on a large farm. Just right size and a lot easier to lug around than bulker heavy chains. They are eaiser to slide under or around tight spaces.

I used four Grade 70 3/8" transport chains to assist in straightening the front subframe from a 1973 Camaro. These chains are very high quality and easily held the frame in place during this process. I wouldn't hesitate to use them for other heavy-duty jobs and/or auto transport.
