National Truck Driver Appreciation Week: Mytee Products Says “Thank You” To Truck Drivers

The National Truck Driver Appreciation Week (NTDAW) has finally come around again and we at Mytee Products are celebrating truckers everywhere. From September 10-16, 2023, we’ll be thanking the hardest-working people in the U.S. We all know how demanding and challenging their jobs can be. In fact, statistics show that a trucker will cover thousands of miles of road a year, making 40 trips across the United States. Additionally, millions of people work as various types of truck drivers, such as light delivery truckers. Most even depend solely on making truck deliveries.

Truckers are selfless individuals who aren’t afraid to make the hard decisions. They’ve even made tons of sacrifices to ensure families have the goods they need to thrive. In 2020, truckers became one of the most important people in the workforce, after having delivered Covid-19 vaccines to millions of Americans in record time. Still to this day, truckers are working hard to save more lives from the novel pandemic and its variants.

Not only do truck drivers protect our families, but they also keep our streets and highways safe. By monitoring their speed, checking their following distance, and using protective gear over their cargo, they can prevent a fatal accident from happening.

Given all of these statistics, it’s no wonder they’ve been around since the 19th century. Professional truckers keep the world spinning. Without them, we’d have no food, medicine, money, or the tools we need to survive in this world. We at Mytee Products want to help others celebrate National Truck Driver Appreciation Week this year. Here are just some of the ways you can honor our hardworking men and women working behind the wheel.

Here Are 5 Reasons Why We’re Grateful For Truck Drivers

1. Truck Drivers Deliver Almost Everything We Rely On

Truckers run a tight ship. When it comes to getting the materials you need, truckers are right there to make sure the job gets done. They’ll ensure you have everything from your favorite macaroni brand and your heart medication to the new wood planks for your floors delivered on time.

2. They’re Committed To The Job

Like a soldier, truck drivers are fearless warriors who’ll go to battle. They’re not afraid of a challenge and will get the job done no matter what. It’s this type of commitment and dedication to the job that makes them one of the most reliable people in the workforce. You can always depend on a truck driver.

3. They Keep Things Running Smoothly

More importantly, these hardworking individuals keep America running like a well-oiled machine. They’re up at the crack of dawn, ready to ship out our products and deliver them at warp speed. You can expect your product to arrive on time, without fail. At the end of the day, a truck driver aims for satisfaction.

4. Truckers Bring Us Everything We Enjoy

If you’ve been waiting for that new PlayStation 5 to arrive, you’re in luck. Truckers know we like to indulge in the simple pleasures of life. A trucker will ensure you have what you need to enjoy your day and everyday life.

5. Truck Drivers Are Dedicated To Safety

Not only do they have a commitment to delivering our favorite items but also to keep the roads safe. As mentioned previously, truck drivers help protect other drivers and themselves when making a transport. Drivers take it upon themselves to understand the potential dangers of on-the-road deliveries and use safety tactics to avoid any accidents.

How To Celebrate Truck Driver Appreciation Week

1. Buy Them Lunch

There are a million ways we can say “thank you” to our favorite drivers during this year’s truck driver appreciation week. Traveling day and night can work up quite the appetite for a trucker. Buy them a Quarter Pounder at McDonalds or even get them a coupon to eat out at Bob Evans.

2. Donate To A Truck Charity

You can even get involved in some of the issues truckers are passionate about. Help donate to a charity that supports a trucker’s cause today, such as, and Truckers Against Trafficking. Making a donation could help make a difference in the lives of everyday truck drivers. More importantly, it could promote positive changes for everyone.

3. Give Them Care & Safety Products

Gift them with safety apparel and care packages, stuffing them with all kinds of goodies, such as beef jerky, bottled water, a flashlight and even a first aid kit. You never know what a trucker might need during the work week. We want our drivers to know we have their backs.

4. Offer Them Free Trucking Products

Besides giving them a bunch of goodies, you should probably gift them with things they’ll actually need for their job. Maybe you can offer a professional driver vital trucking supplies such as a moving blanket, a winch strap, or even a tire pressure gauge. You can even throw in a pair of work gloves.

5. Host Giveaways

The freebies don’t stop there. During this year’s truck appreciation week, you can hold daily drawings for truckers to win all kinds of prizes. They could win great items like iPhone covers, headphone sets or even a $50 gift card to Red Lobster. By the end of the National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, announce the grand prize as a huge giveaway, such as tickets to a Kane Brown concert.

6. Shout Outs on Social Media

Additionally, you can go on Facebook or Instagram and tell truckers how much you appreciate them. You can even tell your favorite trucker in person just how much you appreciate their service and post during an IG live. No one likes a personal compliment more than truck drivers, especially when it’s face-to-face.

7. Truck Servicing

Trucking can be an important job, but also a very dirty one. A rig can’t exactly go to the nearest car wash. Though, you can help a trucker out by washing their windows when they leave a facility. We want our truck drivers to always look their best when delivering the goods.

8. Write a Thank You Letter

Perhaps you want to keep things simple and just say ‘thank you.’ Send a ‘thank you’ letter to your trucker and their family’s home address, letting them know you appreciate everything they’ve done. It’ll make the moment all the more sweeter when the ‘thank you’ letter comes from the CEO of your company.

Thank You

During this year’s National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, we encourage everyone to honor their truck drivers. From all of us at Mytee Products, we’d like to give a big shoutout to all the truckers out there giving it 110% every day.
