• Can store 7 feet of strap while in use.
• Will NOT HOLD 30' of strap as this is only meant for temporary placement where a normal winch will not fit.

In order to store or use this winch properly, you can use it like a ratchet strap;

• Pull all the excess webbing through the winch after you have attached the winch strap hook to the one side of your load.
• Then Start ratcheting the Stake Pocket Winch tight.
• Once your winch is tightened down, Roll up the excess webbing and use a rubber band or store under your load.
