Questions & Answers

What are the differences between E-Track Ratchet Straps vs E-Track Cam Buckle Straps?

One of the most noticeable differences between them is the difference in tightening mechanisms. The Ratchet can get stronger than the hand-tight grip on cargo while offering high working load limits.

How much weight can an E-Track hold?

E-Tracks are dependent on the surface they are attached to. The weight E-Track hold can differ if attached to the floor versus the walls of the trailer, but on average can hold up to 2,000 lbs without issue.

How strong are E-Track Straps?

Depending on the size and type, an E-Track strap can hold up to 1,333 lbs at the most. These straps are best used together to increase the efficiency of the tie-down.

How To Use E-track Straps?

Using an E-Track Strap is simple. First, check for any damages to your E-Track rails and straps before the installation process. Once everything looks good, start inserting the fittings on your E Track Straps into the slots on your rails. Position the heavy-duty straps around or over your cargo. Afterward, you can start adding tensioning to your straps by either ratcheting or using the pull-to-tighten method. Once you’re done, fold up any remaining webbing and tuck it under your strap.

How to determine how much E Track I need for my trailer?

Simply use a piece of string and tape to determine what lengths you need for your E-Track rails. Tape one end of the string to the wall of your trailer and drag it to your chosen length. Cut the string, then determine its length with a measuring tape. Now you’ll know how much of an E-Track rail you’ll need for your enclosed trailer or dry van.
